The transformation

Before

A product with no declared origin, no documented batches, and packaging that competed on shelf presence rather than substance.

After

Cambodia's first terroir honey brand. Single declared origin, batch-level QR traceability, and export-ready positioning.

On the slopes of Phnom Santuk, 809 stone steps climb above the plains of Kampong Thom. The mountain holds moisture the flatlands do not, and in the flowering months cashew trees bloom across the hillsides. The honey is harvested from this region alone, never blended across provinces, and each batch is documented from hive to jar.

Cambodia had plenty of honey. It had no honey brand. We built one, on wine logic rather than honey marketing: declare the origin, document the batch, and let the place speak.

One mountain. One harvest. One jar.

Five brand pillars

The rules the brand never breaks.

01Geographic integrity

One mountain, one region. Not blended across provinces, ever.

02Seasonal expression

Honey varies by bloom window, documented and celebrated the way wine celebrates the vintage.

03Traceable proof

A QR code and batch ID on every jar. Every claim verifiable, every batch linked to a record.

04Responsible harvest

Sustainability as an operational discipline, not a marketing claim.

05Cambodian terroir

The character of this honey belongs to this place.

What we delivered

Eight deliverables, one system. Every piece flows from one master rulebook, so the label, the website and the pitch all make the same claim.

01
Brand positioning & strategy

Terroir positioning, wine logic applied to honey, and the gap analysis behind it.

02
Brand naming

Santuk, named for the mountain. One word, one origin, ownable.

03
Logo system

Five variants: primary, secondary, seal and stamp, monochrome, micro.

04
Packaging design

Two colourways: charcoal for the export shelf, cream for artisanal retail.

05
QR batch traceability

A scannable origin record on every jar, in the format STK-26-CB-01.

06
Website design & build

A standalone site: origin, traceability, batch archive and shop.

07
Copy & content framework

Tone of voice, approved microcopy and claims discipline.

08
Go-to-market strategy

Local anchor, then regional export, then international flagship, in sequence.

A strong product with real distribution could not grow its authority. Our audit found no trust layer, and a meme-led social voice doing active harm.
