Privacy Policy

Last updated September 11, 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how Cites X ("Cites X", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit citesx.com, join our waitlist, or use the Cites X Desk application (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the Service:

How we use it

To operate and secure the Service, to tell you when access opens, to respond to your requests, to improve features, and to meet legal obligations. We do not use your account content to train third-party models.

Legal bases (where GDPR applies)

We process personal information to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in running and improving the Service, with your consent where required (for example non-essential cookies), and to comply with the law.

How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run Cites X (such as hosting), under confidentiality obligations, and where required by law or to protect rights and safety. Each account's data is isolated from every other account.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it. Waitlist details are kept until launch or until you ask us to remove them.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including account isolation and keeping secrets and credentials off the public web. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe. See our Trust Center.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email ask@citesx.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

International transfers

Cites X operates from Southeast Asia and may process data in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy as the Service grows. We will post the new version here with a fresh date, and note material changes.
